IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2026-XXX
RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT AND APPROPRIATE $100,000 OF
ADDITIONAL FEDERAL HIGHWAY SAFETY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (HSIP) FUNDS TO THE WICKS & MANOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL UPGRADE, PROJECT NO. 2020.5620
WHEREAS, an Administering Agency State Agreement for Federal-aid Projects No. 04-5041F-15 was entered into between the City of San Leandro and the State of California on June 19, 2017; and WHEREAS, the City was previously awarded a $323,910 Federal-aid grant from the Highway Safety Improvement Program for the design and construction of the Wicks Boulevard and Manor Intersection Traffic Signal Improvements Project; and
WHEREAS, the City was awarded an additional $100,000 Federal-aid grant from the Highway Safety Improvement Program to offset additional costs associated with said project; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends acceptance of said grant.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
1. That the City Manager is authorized to accept the additional grant funding; and
2. That $100,000 in grant funds be appropriated to account number 150-3608 (revenue) and 150- 38-349-5240 (expenditure) to cover reimbursable expenditures related to the subject project.
