IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2026-XXX
RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE SINGLE AUDIT REPORT AND RECEIVE AND FILE THE MEMORANDUM
ON INTERNAL CONTROL AND REQUIRED COMMUNICATIONS FOR THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2025
WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro is committed to fiscal sustainability, transparency, and strong financial management practices; and
WHEREAS, the City’s independent auditors, Maze & Associates, completed the City’s Single Audit for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, as required for public agencies expending over $750,000 in federal funds; and
WHEREAS, the auditors reported no findings in the Single Audit; and WHEREAS, the auditors also issued the Memorandum on Internal Control and the Required Communications, both of which reported no deficiencies or issues; and WHEREAS, these documents are required components of the City’s annual audit process and are now finalized and ready for Council review.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That said Single Audit Report for the City of San Leandro is hereby accepted for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2025.
