RESOLUTION NO. 2026-XXX
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 3
TO THE SECURITY SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND ANI PRIVATE SECURITY AND PATROL, INC. FOR AN ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF $68,792 FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026- 2027, FOR A TOTAL CONTRACT AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $411,376 WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro entered into a Non-Professional Services Agreement with ANI Private Security and Patrol, Inc. on July 1, 2024, for the provision of security services at City facilities in an amount not to exceed $100,000; and
WHEREAS, the City Council subsequently approved Amendment No. 1 and Amendment No. 2 to continue security services and adjust service levels to meet operational needs; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents of the agreement and subsequent amendments and finds the terms acceptable; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of Amendment No. 3 to the Non-Professional Services Agreement with ANI Private Security and Patrol, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
1. That the amendment is approved for a sum not to exceed $68,792 for FY 2027 for a total contract amount not to exceed $411,376; and
2. All other terms of the agreement shall remain in full force and effect; and
3. That the City Manager is authorized to take all actions and execute all documents necessary to carry out the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
