IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2026-XXX
RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS AND TAKE ALL ACTIONS NECESSARY TO ACCEPT $154,722 IN TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT ARTICLE 3 GRANT FUNDS AND TO APPROPRIATE $90,000 FOR THE UNCONTROLLED CROSSWALK ENHANCEMENTS PROJECT AND $64,722 FOR THE ANNUAL SIDEWALK PROGRAM WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro has submitted a request to the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) for the allocation of TDA Article 3 (TDA 3) funds to support the Uncontrolled Crosswalk Enhancement Project and the Annual Sidewalk Program, which are for the exclusive benefit and/or use of pedestrians and/or bicyclists; and
WHEREAS, $90,000 will be appropriated to the Uncontrolled Sidewalk Enhancement Project; and WHEREAS, $64,722 will be appropriated to the Annual Sidewalk Program 24-25.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That the acceptance and appropriation of a total of $154,722 in TDA 3 grant funds for the abovementioned projects is hereby authorized.
