IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2026-XXX
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH LARRY WALKER ASSOCIATES, INC. FOR PRETREATMENT PROGRAM REVIEW FOR A TOTAL NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT OF $35,000, THAT ACCRUES THE CITY'S CUMULATIVE NOT TO EXCEED COMPENSATION WITH LARRY WALKER ASSOCIATES, INC. TO $415,300
WHEREAS, the City is subject to state and federal wastewater regulatory requirements under its National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit, including requirements for a pretreatment program; and
WHEREAS, the City would like to complete a review of its Pretreatment Program to ensure that all monitoring and reporting requirements are being met; and WHEREAS, specialized technical knowledge and regulatory expertise is required to ensure compliance and effectiveness of Pretreatment Program; and WHEREAS, Larry Walker Associates Inc. currently has a contract with the City for stormwater compliance planning support that was approved by the City Council on July 21, 2025; and WHEREAS, the City seeks to work with Larry Walker Associates to also review its Pretreatment Program; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That the Consulting Services Agreement is approved and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the Consulting Services Agreement with Lary Walker Associates, Inc. for Pretreat Program Review in an amount not to exceed $35,000
