IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2026-XXX
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AMENDMENT TO
THE NON-PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH BRIGHTVIEW LANDSAPING FOR $190,635.57 FOR WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PLANT LANDSCAPING SERVICES FOR A TOTAL NOT TO EXCEED AMOUNT OF $1,555,309.76
WHEREAS, the City’s Water Pollution Control Plant requires annual landscaping maintenance services ; and
WHEREAS, the City currently has a five-year agreement for landscaping maintenance for Citywide median and City facilities with Brightview Landscaping Services, Inc.; and WHEREAS, the amendment would add landscape services at the Water Pollution Control Plant facility to the multiyear contract scope and increase the contract not to exceed amount to $1,555,309.76; and
WHEREAS, the amendment to the current contract will streamline procurement of required annual maintenance services; and
WHEREAS, Brightview has agreed to the terms of the agreement pending Council approval; and WHEREAS, the Nonprofessional Services Agreement was presented to this City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That said services agreement amendment is hereby approved in the amount of $ $190,635.57 for a new total not to exceed amount to the original agreement of $1,555,309.76; and That the City Manager is authorized to take all actions and execute all documents necessary to effect the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
