RESOLUTION NO. 2026-XXX
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN ADDITIONAL SCOPT OF WORK IN THE AMOUNT OF $60,040 UNDER AN EXISTING
MASTER SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH VISIONARY INTEGRATION PROFESSIONALS,
LLC, FOR POST GO-LIVE SUPPORT OF WORKDAY AND TELLER IMPLEMENTATION AND ENHANCEMENTS TO THE CITY’S BUILDING, PLANNING, AND ENGINEERING
PROGRAMS
WHEREAS, the City utilizes the Accela permitting system to support Community Development, Public Works, and Fire Department operations, and VIP has been providing assessment, improvement (enhancement), and maintenance services under a Master Services Agreement executed on January 4, 2022; and
WHEREAS, on July 1, 2026, the City successfully launched the Teller cashiering system and Workday ERP, both which require integration and configuration support within the Accela platform; and
WHEREAS, the work required to support these implementations and to provide enhancements for Building, Planning, and Engineering has exceeded the funding authorized under previous agreements, including the December 15, 2025 Master Services Agreement; and
WHEREAS, VIP has submitted an additional Statement of Work covering the base support period of July 15, 2026 through January 31, 2027, including post go-live support, Accela development, cashiering and financial reporting improvements, and ongoing maintenance on a time-and-material basis; and
WHEREAS, the proposed additional statement of work is not-to-exceed $60,040, bringing the revised contract total to $143,440, and sufficient funding is available in the FY 2027 Information Technology Service Fund; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE that said additional scope of work to the agreement and any necessary related documents is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized.
