IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2026-XXX
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH TERRAPHASE ENGINEERING, INC. FOR DESIGN ENGINEERING
SERVICES FOR A TREATMENT WETLAND AT THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PLANT, FOR A NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT OF $357,150
WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro’s Water Pollution Control Plant plans to repurpose an underutilized
6.9-acre wastewater retention pond on site into a multi-benefit treatment wetland; and
WHEREAS, the City selected Terraphase Engineering through a competitive selection process and entered into an agreement on October 15, 2019 to support the planning phase of the project; and
WHEREAS, Terraphase Engineering provided design and construction management services to complete Phase 1 of the project; and
WHEREAS, additional scope has been indentified to enable the completion of design and solicit bids for the construction the project; and
WHEREAS, Terraphase has agreed to the terms of the agreement pending Council approval; and
WHEREAS, the Consulting Services Agreement was presented to this City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That said services agreement with Terraphase Engineering, Inc. is hereby approved in the amount of $357,150 and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized.
