IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2026-XXX
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE NON-PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH CALCON SYSTEMS, INC. TO PROVIDE STANDBY GENERATOR DIAGNOSIS AND REPAIR SERVICES FOR THE CITY’S WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PLANT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $237,244
WHEREAS, on May 18, 2026, the City of San Leandro entered into an agreement with Calcon Systems, Inc. (“Calcon”) for electrical and instrumentation support services; and WHEREAS, this agreement authorized an amount up to $120,344; and WHEREAS, reliable standby power is necessary for the functioning of the Water Pollution Control Plant during power outages; and
WHEREAS, Calcon has experience providing these services at the Water Pollution Control Plant and is uniquely qualified to continue offering these services; and WHEREAS, Calcon has agreed to the terms of the agreement pending Council approval; and WHEREAS, the Nonprofessional Services Agreement and the Amendment were presented to this City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That said first amendment to the non-professional services agreement is hereby approved in the amount of $237,244 and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and That the City Manager is authorized to take all actions and execute all documents necessary to effect the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
