IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2026-XXX
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A FURNITURE PURCHASE AGREEMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $178,140 WITH RESOURCE DESIGN INTERIORS FOR MULFORD MARINA BRANCH LIBRARY, PROJECT NO. 2018.2400; AND TO NEGOTIATE AND APPROVE CONTRACT AMENDMENTS UP TO A TOTAL OF 10% ($17,814) OF THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT AMOUNT WHEREAS, Resources Design Interiors (RDI) is a vendor that contracts with suppliers using a cooperative procurement process that streamlines online purchasing for local, state, and Federal government entities by consolidating numerous individually prepared solicitations to one cooperatively shared process that aggregates demand from members nationwide, and WHEREAS, staff recommend that a furniture purchase agreement with RDI should be executed in an amount not to exceed $178,140; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the scope of work; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
1. That said agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and
2. That the City Manager or their designee is authorized to negotiate and approve contract amendments up to a cumulative total of 10% of the original contract amount, or $17,814; and
3. That the City Manager is authorized to take all actions and execute all documents necessary to effect the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
