RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS APPROVING CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD, FINALIZE, AND EXECUTE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FOR THE CITYWIDE ADA INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT AT BINGHAM DRIVE AND BAILEY COURT (CIP# ST009) WHEREAS, construction documents for the Citywide ADA Infrastructure Improvements Project at Bingham Drive and Bailey Court (CIP# ST009) have been substantially completed and are currently being advertised for construction bids; and WHEREAS, the City desires to construct the improvements on Bingham Drive and Bailey Court; and WHEREAS, the City desires to complete the construction of the Project in an expeditious manner; and WHEREAS delegating to and authorizing the City Manager to award the contract and to finalize and execute the applicable contract documents will facilitate the expeditious and orderly construction of the project; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Marcos as follows:
The foregoing recitals are true and correct;
The construction documents for bids for the Citywide ADA Infrastructure Improvements Project at Bingham Drive and Bailey Court (CIP# ST009) are approved; The City Engineer is authorized to finalize the construction documents; and The City Manager is delegated all necessary authority to award and to finalize and execute the contract with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for the Project (CIP# ST009).
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of San Marcos, California, this 22nd day of February, 2022, by the following vote:
