A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS
APPROVING A FIVE YEAR CONTRACT WITH THE COUNTY OF SAN
DIEGP FOR GENERAL AND SPECIALIZED LAW ENFORCEMENT
SERVICES

HEREAS, The City of San Marcos has utilized the services of the County of San Diego Sheriff’s Department for law enforcement and traffic services; and WH
EREAS, the City of San Marcos desires to continue its contractual relationship with the County of San Diego Sheriff’s Department for general and specialized law and traffic enforcement services;
WH
EREAS, in furtherance of this goal, County and City representatives have negotiated the terms and conditions of a new contract; and
WH
EREAS, having reached agreement, a new contract has been developed reflecting terms acceptable to representatives of the County, the City and the Sheriff’s Department.

OW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of San Marcos does hereby approve the attached agreement for general and specialized l aw enforcement services wit h the County of San Diego for the term July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2027.
