CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Jones called the City Council Meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
ROLL CALL:
PRESENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: JENKINS, MUSGROVE, NUÑEZ, JONES ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: WALTON
Councilmember Walton did not attend due to a conflict of interest.
ORAL COMMUNICATIONS – There were no requests to speak.
CLOSED SESSION
The City Council adjourned to closed session at 5:31 p.m.
CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL – PENDING LITIGATION. One pending litigation matter under GC section 54956.9(d)(1), San Diego County Office of Education, et al., Petitioners, v. County of San Diego, et al., San Diego Superior Court Case No 37-2017-00019775-CU-WM-CTL. This action includes the Successor Agency to the former San Marcos Redevelopment Agency as a Respondent, the City of San Marcos as a Real Party in Interest, and the San Marcos Fire Protection District as a Real Party in Interest.
The City Council reconvened at 5:54 p.m.
CITY ATTORNEY PEAK announced that city council discussed the litigation and parameters regarding Item 1; with no other reportable action taken.
ADJOURNMENT – Mayor Jones adjourned the meeting at 5:55 p.m. ________________________________
