RESOLUTION NO. 2022-XXXX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE RANCHO CORONADO PARK IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT (CIP #PK006) Whereas, nine (9) bids were received and publicly opened on March 10, 2022, for the Rancho Coronado Park Improvements Project (CIP #PK006, "Project”); and Whereas, following review and evaluation of the submitted bids, the City finds Handy Industrial to be the lowest and most responsive bidder; and WHEREAS, the City requires that the Project be completed in eighty (80) working days.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Marcos approves the award of the construction contract for the Rancho Coronado Park Improvements Project (CIP #PK006) to Handy Industrial in the amount of $948,375.70, to include specified completion date, based on its submittal of the lowest and most responsive bid.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of San Marcos, California, on this 22nd day of March 2022, by the following vote:
