RESOLUTION NO. 2022-9020
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AWARDING CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO THE TRACK & TURF DOCTOR FOR THE CONNORS PARK SYNTHETIC TURF REPLACEMENT PROJECT (CIP# PK001), AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO FINALIZE AND EXECUTE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS WHEREAS, proposals were received by Sourcewell through a public competitive bid process for athletic surfaces; and WHEREAS the City finds that The Track & Turf Doctor proposal meets all cooperative purchasing requirements set forth in the San Marcos Municipal Code, and is the most qualified and responsive bidder; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that City Council of the City of San Marcos approves the award of contract for the Connors Park Synthetic Turf Replacement Project (CIP# PK010) to The Track & Turf Doctor, in an amount not to exceed $741,365, and authorizes the City Manager to finalize and execute the associated contract documents.
