RESOLUTION NO. 2022-9060
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS APPROVING CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS, AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD, FINALIZE, AND EXECUTE THE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FOR THE LAS POSAS POOL STORAGE PROJECT (CIP #FC011) Whereas, construction documents for the Las Posas Pool Storage Project (CIP #FC011, "Project”), have been completed; and Whereas, the Project improvements will include construction of a room addition to the existing building at Las Posas Pool; and WHEREAS, the City desires to complete the construction of the Project in an expeditious manner; and WHEREAS, delegating to and authorizing the City Manager to award the contract and execute the applicable contract documents will facilitate the expeditious and orderly construction of the Project; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Marcos as follows:
The foregoing recitals are true and correct;
The construction documents for bid for the Las Posas Pool Storage Project (CIP #FC011) are approved; The advertisement for bid for the Las Posas Pool Storage Project (CIP #FC011) is authorized; The City Manager is delegated all necessary authority to award the Project, and to finalize and execute the contract with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for the Las Posas Pool Storage Project (CIP #FC011).
