RESOLUTION NO. 2022-9074
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS DELEGATING TO AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE, FINALIZE, AND EXECUTE CONSULTANT CONTRACTS WITH SELECTED CONSULTANTS FOR AS-NEEDED BUILDING DIVISION RELATED SERVICES.
Whereas, the City of San Marcos (City) desires to hire consultant(s) for building related services; and WHEREAS, in conformance with San Marcos Municipal Code Chapter 2.30, the City advertised a Request for Proposals seeking qualified firms for building division related services and received five (5) proposals; and, WHEREAS, City staff evaluated the submitted proposals and has identified for the City Council’s consideration the best qualified firms to provide consulting services; and, WHEREAS, City staff recommends contract award to 4Leaf Inc., and True North Compliance Services Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Marcos does hereby authorize and delegate authority to the City Manager to negotiate, finalize, and execute Consultant Agreements with 4Leaf Inc. and True North Compliance Services Inc. in an estimated not to exceed amount of $2,250,000 for each contract, for as-needed building related services in accordance with SMMC Chapter 2.30.
