RESOLUTION NO. 2022-9069
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AWARDING LIGHTING MAINTENANCE AND AS-NEEDED ELECTRICAL CONTRACTS TO SATURN ELECTRIC, INC. & M. BREY ELECTRIC, INC.
WHEREAS the City desires to hire two contractors for lighting maintenance and as-needed electrical services; and WHEREAS the City of San Marcos received proposals through a public competitive bid process for lighting maintenance and as-needed electrical services, repairs, installation of controls, components, equipment, etc.; and WHEREAS the City finds that the Saturn Electric, Inc. and M. Brey Electric, Inc. are the most qualified and responsive proposers; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Marcos approves the award of two contracts for lighting maintenance and as-needed electrical services; one to Saturn Electric, Inc. and the other to M. Brey Electric, Inc., for a maximum period of five years in the cumulative total amount not to exceed $1,500,000.
