RESOLUTION NO. 2023_____
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AWARDING A MULIT-YEAR MAINTENANCE CONTRACT FOR HEATING, VENTILATION, AND AIR CONDITIONING MAINTENANCE SERVICES TO TRANE U.S., INC.
Whereas, the City of San Marcos (City) desires to contract with a qualified heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) contractor; and WHEREAS, in conformance with the City’s Purchasing Ordinance Section 2.30.110 Cooperative Purchasing (Piggyback Procurement), staff seeks to enter into a contract with Trane U.S. Inc., a professional HVAC service provider; and Whereas, staff has recommended that the City Council approve the award of a multi-year contract for HVAC maintenance services, in an amount not to exceed $1,400,000, and authorize the City Manager to finalize and execute the contract and related documents with Trane U.S. Inc.; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that City Council of the City of San Marcos hereby approves the award of a multi-year HVAC Service agreement with Trane U.S. Inc. and does hereby delegate to and authorize the City Manager to finalize and execute the contract and related documents.
