RESOLUTION NO. 2023_____
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR HEATING, VENTILATION, AND AIR CONDITIONING REPAIRS AT FRIE STATION #1 TO TRANE U.S., INC.
Whereas, the City of San Marcos (City) desires to contract with a qualified heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) contractor; and WHEREAS, in conformance with the City’s Purchasing Ordinance Section 2.30.110 Cooperative Purchasing (Piggyback Procurement), staff seeks to enter into a contract with Trane U.S., Inc. a professional HVAC service provider; and Whereas, staff has recommended that the City Council approve the award of a contract for HVAC repairs, in an amount not to exceed $259,499.03 and authorize the City Manager to finalize and execute the contract and related documents with Trane U.S., Inc.; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that City Council of the City of San Marcos hereby approves the award of a contract with Trane U.S., Inc. and does hereby delegate to and authorize the City Manager to finalize and execute the contract and related documents.
