RESOLUTION NO. 2023-XXXX
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT NO. 6452 FOR BULK FUEL AND LUBRICANT DELIVERY SERVICES WHEREAS, proposals were received by the City of San Marcos through the public bid process for bulk fuel and lubricant delivery services; and WHEREAS, on November 1, 2020, Contract No. 6452 for bulk fuel and lubricant delivery services was entered into between the City of San Marcos and Southern Counties Lubricants, LLC, in the amount of $3,250,000; and WHEREAS, City staff recommends amending the contract to increase the total contract amount to $6,500,000; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of San Marcos does hereby approve said amendment, and authorizes the City Manager to finalize and execute a contract amendment to the existing contract with Southern Counties Lubricants, LLC for bulk fuel and lubricant delivery services, to increase the contract amount to $6,500,000.
