RESOLUTION NO. 2023 -
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN MARCOS ADOPTING A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AND
THE SAN MARCOS SUPERVISORS’ ASSOCIATION
WHEREAS, representatives of the San Marcos Supervisors’ Association and management have been conducting negotiations pursuant to the City’s Employer-Employee Organization Relations Resolution for the period July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2025; and WHEREAS, an Agreement has been reached by the Association and management representatives; and WHEREAS, said Agreement was ratified by the Association’s general membership; and WHEREAS, the Association and management representatives desire to submit this agreement to the City Council for approval; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined it to be in the public’s interest to accept such an Agreement in the form of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), known as Contract # ________, on file in the office of the City Clerk, and incorporated by reference herein; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of San Marcos does hereby adopt the attached Memorandum of Understanding between the City of San Marcos and the San Marcos Supervisors’ Association effective July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2025.
