RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS APPROVING CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO FINALIZE THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS, AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID, AND DELEGATING TO AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD, FINALIZE, AND EXECUTE THE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FOR THE CITYWIDE ADA INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT AT NORTH TWIN OAKS VALLEY ROAD (CIP# ST009) Whereas, construction documents for the Citywide ADA Infrastructure Improvements Project at North Twin Oaks Valley Road (CIP# ST009) have been substantially completed; and Whereas, the City desires to construct the improvements along North Twin Oaks Valley Road; and WHEREAS, the City desires to complete the construction of the Project in an expeditious manner; and WHEREAS delegating to and authorizing the City Manager to award the contract and to finalize and execute the applicable contract documents will facilitate the expeditious and orderly construction of the project; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Marcos hereby:
Approves the construction documents for bids for the Citywide ADA Infrastructure Improvements Project at North Twin Oaks Valley Road (CIP# ST009); and Authorizes the City Engineer to finalize the construction documents; and Authorizes the advertisement for bid for the Citywide ADA Infrastructure Improvements Project at North Twin Oaks Valley Road (CIP# ST009); and Delegates to and authorizes the City Manager to award, finalize, and execute the contract with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for the Project (CIP# ST009).
