CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Jones called the City Council Meeting to order at 3:30 p.m.

ORAL COMMUNICATIONS – There were no requests to speak.
NEW BUSINESS
RESOLUTION NO. 2023-9196 – AUTHORIZING DESIGNATED STAFF TO FILE WITH THE CALIFORNIA OFFICE OF EMERGENCY SERVICES REQUESTS FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE UNDER THE NATURAL DISASTER ASSISTANCE ACT AND SIMILAR STATUTES. ADOPT a resolution authorizing designated staff to file with the California Office of Emergency Services Requests for Financial Assistance under the Natural Disaster Assistance Act and Similar Statutes.
MOVED BY MAYOR JONES, SECONDED BY COUNCILMEMBER MUSGROVE TO APPROVE RESOLUTION NO. 2023-9196.

The City Council recessed at 3:33 p.m. into closed session.
CLOSED SESSION
PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT LABOR NEGOTIATIONS (GC §54957.6). Confer with designated labor negotiators Mayor Jones and Deputy Mayor Jenkins, as well as City Attorney, Special Counsel, and HR Director. Position: City Manager.
The City Council reconvened at 4:28 p.m.
CITY ATTORNEY PEAK reported city council discussed the matter with no reportable action taken.
