APPROVAL OF MINUTES. Approved the minutes of regular City Council meetings on September 26, 2023.
APPROVAL OF WARRANTS. Approved City Council, Successor Agency, and Fire Protection District warrants dated September 2023.
ORDINANCE NO. 2023-1535 – SECOND READING MODIFYING CHAPTER 5.54 (CANNABIS/MARIJUANA) OF THE SAN MARCOS MUNICIPAL CODE TO PERMIT MEDICINAL CANNABIS DELIVERY IN COMPLIANCE WITH SB 1186. Adopt (second reading) ordinance to modify San Marcos Municipal Code Chapter 5.54 (Cannabis/Marijuana) to permit medicinal cannabis delivery in compliance with SB 1186.
DECLARE VACANCIES ON VARIOUS BOARDS, COMMITTESS AND COMMISSIONS. Approved the declaration of upcoming vacancies; authorize advertising to accept applications from October 11, 2023, to the close of business on Friday, December 15, 2023; and conduct interviews at the City Council meeting on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, of the desired appointments to the referenced Board, Committee, and Commission vacancies.
RESOLUTION NO. 2023-9228 – AWARDING A CONTRACT TO REINHART CORP. DBA AAIR PURIFICATION SYSTEMS FOR THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF VEHICLE EXHAUST REMOVAL SYSTEMS AT VARIOUS FIRE STATIONS ON ONE RESERVE BUILDING, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO FINALIZE AND EXECUTE SAID CONTRACT AND ALL RELATED DOCUMENTS. Adopted a resolution awarding a contract to Reinhart Corp. dba Aair Purification Systems for the purchase and installation of vehicle exhaust systems at various fire stations and one reserve building and authorizing the City Manager to finalize the execute said contract and all related documents.
RESOLUTION NO. 2023-9229 – RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS RATIFYING AND APPROVING THE ACCEPTANCE OF CREDIT CARD, DEBIT CARD, OR ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER FOR PAYMENT OF CITY SERVICES, FEES, CHARGES, TAXES DUE, OR OTHER DEBTS OWED TO THE CITY USING CREDIT CARD, DEBIT CARD, OR ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER. Adopt a resolution to ratify and approve the acceptance of credit card, debit card, or electronic funds transfer for payment of city services, fees, charges, taxes due, or other debts owed to the City, and authorizing a transaction processing fee for payment of City services fees, charges, taxes due, or other debts owed to the City using credit card, debit card, or electronic funds transfer.
RESOLUTION NO. 2023-9230 – APPROVING AN UPDATED FULL TIME CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION SCHEDULE. Adopted a resolution approving an updated Full Time Classification and Compensation schedule.
