A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
MARCOS ADJUSTING BUDGET REVIEW COMMITTEE/
EXPANSION OF MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA.
WHEREAS, a Councilmember has indicated that he would like to have the Council consider expanding the membership criteria from the existing requirement resident and qualified elector) to include business owners or business location managers that operate businesses within San Marcos, but may live in another community and are not a qualified elector within the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council believes that the BRC could accommodate an expanded membership criteria; and
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the following vote, that the City Council does hereby agree to adjust the membership criteria to include individuals who are not residents nor qualified electors of the City of San Marcos, but either own a business within the City of San Marcos or are a business location manager for a business within the City of San Marcos.
