RESOLUTION NO. 2024 - XXXX
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL ACCEPTINGTHE ANNUAL
PROGRESS REPORT ON GENERAL PLAN IMPLEMENTATION
WHEREAS, the City desires to comply with the California Government Code Section Sections 65400 and 65700 that mandate all cities within California to submit an annual report (APR) the Governor’s Office of Planning and Research (OPR) summarizing the city’s progress towards implementing its General Plan; and WHEREAS, preparing an APR is required; and
WHEREAS, the project is not subject to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) because the report does not meet the definition of “project” per Section 15378(a) of the CEQA Guidelines; and WHEREAS the City Council reviewed the 2023 General Plan Annual Progress Report and finds that it accurately reflects the status of the City’s General Plan implementation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Marcos, California, hereby accepts the 2023 General Plan Annual Progress Report and directs staff to submit the Report to OPR:
