RESOLUTION NO. 2024-xxxx
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT OF A CONTRACT WITH QUARTIC SOLUTIONS LLC FOR GIS PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AND DELEGATING AUTHORITY TO THE CITY MANAGER TO FINALIZE AND EXECUTE AMENDMENT AND ALL RELATED DOCUMENTS WHEREAS, in conformance with San Marcos Municipal Code (SMMC) Chapter 2.30, the City of San Marcos (City) advertised a request for proposals seeking qualified firms for Professional GIS Services; and WHEREAS, City staff evaluated the submitted proposal(s) and selected Quartic Solutions LLC as the best qualified firm to provide the consulting services; and WHEREAS, on April 20, 2022, the City Council approved entry into Contract No. 6746 with Quartic Solutions LLC for as-needed Geographic Information System (GIS) Enterprise and Database assistance, in the amount of $240,000; and WHEREAS, City staff recommends amendment of said contract to increase the total contract amount to $480,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Marcos does hereby approve said amendment, and authorizes the City Manager to finalize and execute a contract amendment to the existing contract with Quartic Solutions LLC for Professional GIS Services, to increase the contract amount to $480,000.
