APPROVAL OF MINUTES. Approved the minutes of a City Council special meeting on April 11, 2024; and regular and special meetings on May 14, 2024.
APPROVAL OF WARRANTS. Approved City Council, Successor Agency, and Fire Protection District warrants dated May 2024.
RESOLUTION NO. 2024-9291 – ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF AN ENGINEER’S REPORT FOR LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING DISTRICT NO. 1 FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024/2025. Adopted a resolution ordering the preparation of an Engineer’s Report for Landscaping and Lighting District No. 1 for Fiscal Year 2024/2025.
RESOLUTION NO. 2024-9292 – ORDER THE PREPARATION OF AN ENGINEER’S REPORT FOR THE VALLECITOS TOWN CENTER STREET MAINTENANCE DISTRICT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025. Adopted a resolution ordering the preparation of an Engineer’s Report for the Vallecitos Town Center Street Maintenance District for the Fiscal Year 2024-2025.
RESOLUTION NO. 2024-9293 – AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR PARKS MAINTENANCE SERVICES TO EXECUTIVE LANDSCAPE, INC. AND PWLC1, INC., AND DELEGATING AUTHORITY TO THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE, FINALIZE, AND EXECUTE SAID CONTRACTS. Adopted a resolution awarding contracts for parks maintenance services to EXECUTIVE LANDSCAPE, INC. and PWLC1, INC., respectively, and delegating authority to the City Manager to negotiate, finalize, and execute said contracts with for a maximum of five (5) years with an annual note-to-exceed budget of $2,268,418 and $2,630,629, respectively.
RESOLUTION NO. 2024-9294 – APPROVING AMENDMENT OF THE LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE AREA 1 CONTRACT (#6153) WITH EXECUTIVE LANDSCAPE, INC. AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE RELATED DOCUMENTATION. Adopted a resolution approving amendment of the Landscape Maintenance Area 1 Contract (#6153) with Executive Landscape Inc. and authorizing the City Manager to execute related documentation.
RESOLUTION NO. 2024-9295 – APPROVING AMENDMENT TO THE CIP PROJECT BUDGFET FOR THE ANNUAL SURFACE SEAL PROJECT (CIP# ST001). Adopted a resolution to appropriate an additional $800,000 to the annual surface seal project along North Twin Oaks Valley Road (CIP# ST001).
RESOLUTION NO. 2024-9296 – AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY TO COMPLETE NEGOTIATIONS, FINALIZE, AND EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY FOR THE ACQUISITION OF REAL PROPERTY AND IMPROVEMENTS LOCATED WITHIN THE UNIVERSITY DISTRICT SPECIFIC PLAN AREA AT 318 E. BARHAM DRIVE, SAN MARCOS, CA (ASSESSOR’S PARCEL NUMBER 220-202-27-00, MORELAND PROPERTY) TO FACILITATE THE CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF PUBLIC INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS. Adopted a resolution authorizing the City Manager and City Attorney to complete negotiations, finalize, and execute all documents necessary for the acquisition of real property and improvements located within the University District Specific Plan Area, addressed as 318 E. Barham Drive, San Marcos, CA (Assessor’s Parcel Number 220-202-27-00) to facilitate the construction and installation of public infrastructure.
