CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Jones called the City Council Meeting to order at 5:01 p.m.

The City Council adjourned to closed session at 5:03 p.m.
CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL – EXISTING LITIGATION [GC§ 54956.9(a) and (d)(1)]. Confer with City Attorney and Special Counsel regarding pending litigation, City of San Marcos v. Lin Sulu Pastrana, Trustee of AC One Land Trust and AC Two Land Trust dated March 14, 2021, Superior Court of San Diego County, North County Division, Case No. 37-2024-00018227-CU-EI-NC.
CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATORS CITY MANAGER, CITY ATTORNEY, AND SPECIAL COUNSEL [GC 54956.8]. Confer with real property negotiators regarding conditions, price, and terms for real property owned by Jesus E. Santos and Juana E. Santos, represented in negotiations by Bradford Kuhn of Nossaman LLP, said real property being identified as Assessor’s Parcel Number 221-110-17-00, addressed as 134 Myrtle Avenue, San Marcos, CA.
CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATORS CITY MANAGER, CITY ATTORNEY, AND SPECIAL COUNSEL [GC 54956.8]. Confer with real property negotiators regarding conditions, price, and terms for real property owned by J. Elizabeth Santos, a single woman and Gloria P. Santos, Trustee or the Successor Trustee(s) under the GHS Living Trust dated February 22, 2000, as joint tenants, represented in negotiations by Bradford Kuhn of Nossaman LLP, said real property being identified as Assessor’s Parcel Number 221-110-18-00, addressed as 140 E. Barham Drive, San Marcos, CA.
CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL- POTENTIAL LITIGATION [GC§ 54956.9 (d)(4)]. Confer with City Attorney and City Manager regarding potential litigation, three potential actions.
The City Council reconvened at 5:59 p.m.
CITY ATTORNEY PEAK announced that City Council engaged in discussion with Counsel on Item #1 and provided direction concerning negotiations with no other reportable action being taken. City Council provided direction to staff on Item #2 and Item #3 and no reportable action was taken. City Council conferred on Item #4 with the City Attorney and City manager and provided direction to staff with no reportable action being taken.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Jones adjourned the meeting at 6:01 p.m.
