RESOLUTION NO. 2024-__
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN MARCOS AUTHORIZING CARRY-OVER OF APPROPRIATIONS
FROM FISCAL YEAR 2023-24 INTO FISCAL YEAR 2024-25
WHEREAS, the City has initiated projects necessitating services and materials, and/or ordered capital equipment, which were not completed or received during Fiscal Year 2023-24; and WHEREAS, the City has unexpended funds under the Tuition Reimbursement Program which is to be carried over to the next fiscal year as required by the various employee Memorandum of Understandings; and WHEREAS, carry-over of budgeted appropriations from one fiscal year into another requires City Council approval; and WHEREAS, funding for such services and materials, and capital equipment will be available in fiscal year 2024-25.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Marcos approves the carry-over of appropriations into Fiscal Year 2024-25 for the various funds and accounts as shown in the attached Exhibit “A”.
