CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Jones called the City Council Meeting to order at 3:01 p.m.

CLOSED SESSION
CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL – POTENTIAL LITIGATION [GC 54956.9 (d)(2) and (e)(1), and (d)(4)]. Potential litigation, two potential actions.
CITY ATTORNEY PEAK announced The City Council discussed the matter with counsel and provided direction to staff. No reportable action was taken on either potential action.
CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL – EXISTING LITIGATION [GC§ 54956.9(a) and (d)(1)]. Confer with City Attorney regarding pending litigation, City of San Marcos v. Domingo Bustamante and Irma Bustamante, Superior Court of San Diego County, North County Division, Case No. 37-2023-00003598-CU-OR-NC.
CITY ATTORNEY PEAK announced Council Member Musgrove did not attend, as he has a conflict of interest due to the proximity of real property interests. All other Council Members were present. The City Council discussed the matter with counsel and provided direction to staff. No reportable action was taken.
