A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO A MAINTENANCE CONTRACT FOR AS-NEEDED FENCE AND GUARDRAIL REPAIR SERVICES Whereas, On July 12, 2022 Sierra Pacific Fence Inc. was awarded a maintenance contract for as-needed fence and guardrail maintenance services in an amount not to exceed $400,000; and Whereas, due to recent large projects, the contract has reached its not to exceed limit; and WHEREAS, staff seeks City Council approval of an amendment to said contract to increase the not to exceed amount by an additional $400,000 for a total not to exceed amount of $800,000, and authorization for the City Manager to negotiate, finalize, and execute such amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Marcos hereby approves an amendment to the as-needed fence and guardrail maintenance services contract with Sierra Pacific Fence, Inc. to implement a revised total not to exceed amount of $800,000, and hereby delegates to and authorizes the City Manager to negotiate, finalize, and execute said amendment.
