RESOLUTION NO. 2025-XXXX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS APPROVING CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS AND DELEGATING TO AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD THE CONTRACT AND TO FINALIZE AND EXECUTE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FOR THE RICHMAR PARK PHASE 2 IMPROVEMENTS (CIP# PK008) Whereas, construction documents for the Richmar Park Phase 2 Improvements Project at the existing Richmar Park site at the northeast corner of Richmar Avenue and Firebird Lane (CIP# PK008) have been substantially completed; and Whereas, the City desires to construct the Phase 2 improvements at Richmar Park; and WHEREAS, the City desires to complete the construction of the Project in an expeditious manner; and WHEREAS delegating to and authorizing the City Manager to award the contract and to finalize and execute the applicable contract documents will facilitate the expeditious and orderly construction of the project; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Marcos as follows:
The foregoing recitals are true and correct;
The construction documents for bids for the Richmar Park Phase 2 Improvements Project (CIP# PK008) are approved; The City Engineer is authorized to finalize the construction documents; and The City Manager is delegated all necessary authority to award the contract for Richmar Park Phase 2 Improvements Project (CIP# PK008), and to finalize and execute the contract with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for the same.
