RESOLUTION NO. 2025-XXXX
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACTS NO. 5889 AND NO. 6924, RESPECTIVELY, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO FINALIZE AND EXECUTE CONTRACT AMENDMENTS AND RELATED DOCUMENTS Whereas, the City has existing contracts with 4Leaf Inc., and Villa Civil for professional services related to the Creek Infrastructure Project (Project), identified as Contracts 5889 and 6924 respectively; and WHEREAS, the City has a need for ongoing professional services with 4Leaf Inc, and Villa Civil to complete the Project, address delays in the same, and to perform related close-out activities; and Whereas, City staff currently anticipates that an additional six months of professional services would be required; and WHEREAS, City staff currently estimates that the cost of services for the remainder of the Project would be $150,000 for 4 Leaf Inc., and $300,000 for Villa Civil.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of San Marcos does hereby approve said amendments, and that it authorizes the City Manager or delegated designee to finalize and execute amendments to the existing contract with 4Leaf Inc. in the amount of $150,000, and to the existing contract with Villa Civil in the amount of $300,000.
