RESOLUTION NO. 2025-XXXX
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FOR AN EVENT TICKET PURSUANT TO THE COMPENSATION AND REIMBURSEMENT POLICY WHEREAS, the Compensation and Reimbursement Policy (“Policy”) of the City of San Marcos (“City”) provides that the City Council may approve payment for or reimbursement of expenses of officials for the performance of official duties; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the event listed below for compliance with the regulations and the Policy, and hereby finds that said event is in compliance therewith.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Marcos finds that the attendance of Councilmember Nuñez at the B&G Club of San Marcos Annual Auction is within the requirements of the policy and regulations, and costs associated with such attendance are hereby approved for payment by the City, inasmuch as attendance is deemed to support and enhance relations with 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) entities in San Diego County, and involves significant regional benefit and public purpose.
