RESOLUTION NO. 2026-XXXX
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT NO. 6294 WITH VILLA CIVIL, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO FINALIZE AND EXECUTE THE CONTRACT AMENDMENT WHEREAS, the City has an existing contract with Villa Civil for professional services related to the Creek Infrastructure Project (Project), identified as Contract 6924; and WHEREAS, the City has a need for ongoing professional services with Villa Civil to complete the Project performing various close-out activities; and WHEREAS, City staff currently anticipate that additional time and compensation are required for these professional services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of San Marcos does hereby approve said amendment, and that it authorizes the City Manager or delegated designee to finalize and execute an amendment to the existing contract with Villa Civil in the amount of $219,980, for a total not-to-exceed contract amount of $1,339,300.00.
