RESOLUTION NO. 2026-XXXX
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS APPROVING THE MID-YEAR ADJUSTMENTS TO AMEND THE FISCAL YEAR 2025-26 BUDGET AND UPDATING THE CITY’S CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION SCHEDULE WHEREAS, the City Manager has presented to the City Council, a proposed mid-year budget revision for the Fiscal Year 2025-26 Budgets for the City of San Marcos; and, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the proposed mid-year budget revisions, and the proposed revisions to the classification and compensation schedule, making modifications detailed in Exhibit A and C, as attached; and, WHEREAS, the appropriations as amended and revisions to the classification and compensation schedule will provide the level of services deemed appropriate by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of San Marcos hereby:
Authorizes that the Fiscal Year 2025-26 approved Budget is amended as denoted in Exhibit A; Authorizes that the Full-Time Classification and Compensation Schedule is amended as denoted in Exhibit C; Authorizes the City Manager to make the appropriate adjustments to each departmental budget as outlined herein and to cite this Resolution as authorization.
