RESOLUTION NO. 2026_____
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR POOL MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES TO KNORR SYSTEMS INC., AND DELEGATING AUTHORITY TO THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE, FINALIZE, AND EXECUTE THE CONTRACT AND ALL RELATED DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City desires to contract with a qualified contractor to perform pool maintenance and repair services for Woodland Park Pool and Cerro De Las Posas Pool; and WHEREAS, in conformance with the City’s Purchasing Ordinance Section 2.30.100, bids were solicited through PW RFP 25-08 on December 5th, 2025, with the opening bid held on January 29th, 2026; and WHEREAS, the City received bids for the Services from three vendors, and Knorr Systems, Inc. was the lowest responsible and responsive bidder; and WHEREAS, staff has recommended that the City Council approve the award of a contract to Knorr Systems Inc. for the Pool Maintenance & Repair Services in an amount not to exceed $500,000.00, and that it authorize the City Manager to finalize and execute the contract and related documents with Knorr Systems Inc.; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Marcos hereby approves the award of a contract with Knorr Systems Inc. in an amount not to exceed $500,00.00, and does hereby delegate to and authorize the City Manager to negotiate, finalize, and execute the contract and related documents.
