RESOLUTION NO. 2026-xxxx
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FOR EVENT TICKETS PURSUANT TO THE COMPENSATION AND REIMBURSEMENT POLICY WHEREAS, the Compensation and Reimbursement Policy (“Policy”) of the City of San Marcos (“City”) provides that the City Council may approve payment for or reimbursement of expenses of officials for the performance of official duties; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the events listed below for compliance with the regulations and the Policy, and hereby finds that said events are in compliance therewith.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Marcos finds that the attendance of Councilmember Nunez, Councilmember LeBlang, and Legislative Affairs Analyst Michael Lieberman at the League of California Cities Annual Conference, and the attendance of Councilmember Nunez at the San Diego North Economic Development Council North County Economic Study Tour, are within the requirements of the policy and regulations, and that costs associated with such attendance are hereby approved for payment by the City, inasmuch as such attendance is deemed to support and enhance relations with 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) entities, and involves significant regional benefit and public purpose.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of San Marcos at a regular meeting thereof, this 14th day of July, 2026, by the following roll call vote:
