RESOLUTION NO. 2026-XXXX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS FOR THE ADOPTION OF THE DISCOVERY STREET LEVEE SYSTEM EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN Whereas, the City of San Marcos is committed to maintaining high standards of safety, preparedness, and regulatory compliance for all projects; and Whereas, the San Marcos Creek District Infrastructure Capital Improvement Program CIP Projects (CIP #88263, 88264, 88265, 88505, 88507, 88529) were completed in accordance with approved plans and specifications; and Whereas, as part of the projects closeout and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) requirements the City develops and adopts an Emergency Response Plan (ERP); and Whereas, the Discovery Street Levee System ERP identifies monitoring, communication, inspection, and emergency-response procedures relating to the San Marcos Creek District Infrastructure Capital Improvement Program CIP Projects; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Marcos hereby:
Adopts the Discovery Street Levee System Emergency Response Plan PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of San Marcos, California, this 8th day of September 2026, by the following vote:
