RESOLUTION NO. 2026-XXXX
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS APPROVING CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID FOR THE THREE PARKS ELECTRICAL UPGRADES PROJECT (CIP #PK013).
WHEREAS, construction documents have been prepared for the Three Parks Electrical Upgrades Project (CIP #PK013, hereinafter “Project”); and WHEREAS, the Project will upgrade lighting and electrical infrastructure at Sunset Park, Walnut Grove Park, and Woodland Park, including new LED and solar lighting and associated improvements; and WHEREAS, the Project is a component of CIP #PK013 and is funded through the California State Parks 2024 Parks Bond Act, Specified Grants Program, Project No. SG-37-070 and WHEREAS, the Project will be advertised and administered in accordance with applicable state and local requirements associated with the Project and its funding source; and WHEREAS, the City desires to proceed to bid for the Project at this time NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Marcos hereby approves the construction documents for the Three Parks Electrical Upgrades Project (CIP #PK013) and authorizes the same to be advertised for bids.
