CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Jakubowski called the adjourned regular meeting to order at 8:32 a.m. in the San Marino Center, located at 1800 Huntington Drive, San Marino, California 91108.

I. RECOMMENDATION FOR THE CITY COUNCIL TO CONCUR ON THE CITY
MANAGER'S HIRING SELECTION FOR SAN MARINO HUMAN RESOURCES
DIRECTOR AND TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL DUTY COMPENSATION TO
THE ACTING HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR
City Manager Marlowe presented the staff report.

Council Member Ude moved, seconded by Vice Mayor Talt, to concur with the City Manager on the hiring of Lizette Guerrero as Human Resources Director for the City of San Marino and provide additional compensation to the Acting Human Resources Director in an amount not-to-exceed $25,000.

AYES: Council Member Huang, Council Member Ude, Vice Mayor Talt, and Mayor Jakubowski
NOES: Council Member Shepherd Romey

2. APPROVAL AND ADOPTION OF RESOLUTIONS PERTAINING TO THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 8, 2022 City Clerk Baker presented the staff report.

Vice Mayor Talt moved, seconded by Council Member Huang, to approve Resolution No. R- 22-26, calling and giving notice of a General Municipal Election to be held November 8, 2022; Resolution No. R-22-27, requesting the Board of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles to consolidate the General Municipal Election with the statewide general election; and Resolution No. R-22-28, adopting regulations pertaining to candidate statements.
