Regular meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. Typically, adjourned meetings are held on the last Friday of every month at 8:30 a.m.

PUBLIC COMMENTS
The City welcomes public input. Members of the public may address the City Council by completing a public comment card and giving it to the City Clerk prior to the meeting. At this time, the public may address the City Council on items that are not on the agenda.
Pursuant to state law, the City Council may not discuss or take action on issues not on the meeting agenda (Government Code Section 54954.2). The Mayor reserves the right to place limits on duration of comments. Staff may be asked to follow up on such items.

Recommendation: Staff recommends the Council the City Council adopt Ordinance AGENDA – MARCH 24, 2023 PAGE 2 of 3

1. ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NO. O231401 (SECOND READING) AMENDING MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 23.03.10 TO EXTEND THE
APPLICABILITY OF OBJECTIVE DESIGN STANDARDS TO ALL
MULTIFAMILY RESIDENTIAL PROJECTS IN THE C1 ZONE
Recommendation: Staff recommends the Council the City Council adopt Ordinance No. O231401. If the City Council concurs with staff’s recommendation an appropriate motion would be:
“I move to waive full reading and adopt Ordinance No. O231401, an Ordinance of the City Council of San Marino, California amending Municipal Code Section
23.03.10 to extend the Objective Residential Design Standards to impose the standards on all multifamily residential projects in the C1 zone.”
2. REVIEW OF DRAFT FY 202324 CAPITAL EQUIPMENT PLAN AND 5 YEAR FORECAST
Recommendation: Staff recommends the City Council review the draft FY 202324 capital equipment budget and 5year plan and provide direction and guidance on two matters: 1) approve or reject the proposed FY 202324 expenditures, and 2) offer guidance on any FY 202425 or beyond equipment expenditures that should be moved up into FY 202324. Staff will include the Council’s direction in the proposed budget.

This is an opportunity to announce any written communications pertaining to the City received by members of the City Council. All public writings distributed by the City of San Marino to at least a majority of the City Council regarding any item on this agenda will be made available at the Public Counter at City Hall located at 2200 Huntington Drive, San Marino, California 91108, and will also be included in the public agenda packet that will available for review at the City Council meeting.
