OF THE SAN MARINO CITY COUNCIL
FRIDAY, APRIL 28, 2023 AT 8:30 A.M.
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Talt called the adjourned regular meeting to order at 8:3 l a.m. in the Barth Room at Crowell Public Library, located at 1890 Huntington Drive.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Mayor Talt led the Pledge of Allegiance.
ROLL CALL: PRESENT: Council Member Chou, Council Member Lo, Council Member Shepherd Romey, Vice Mayor Huang, and Mayor Talt
ABSENT: None

NEW BUSINESS
1. PRESENTATION OF FY 2023-24 PROPOSED OPERATING BUDGET BY
DEPARTMENT (POLICE, COMMUNITY SERVICES, AND FIRE)
Finance Director Chung gave an introduction and staff presented department operating budgets.

Council gave direction to staff on the presented proposed operating budgets.
Mayor Talt recessed the meeting at 9:49 a.m. and resumed the meeting at 9:55 a.m.
CLOSED SESSION
At 10:03 a.m., the Council recessed to closed session to discuss the following items:
2. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - ANTICIPATED LITIGATION Government Code 54956.9 (d) (2)
The City Council met with respect to one (1) matter of potential exposure to litigation.
At 10:38 a.m. the Council reconvened to open session.
