OF THE SAN MARINO CITY COUNCIL
FRIDAY, JANUARY 26, 2024, AT 9:00 AM
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Huang called the special meeting to order at 10:57 a.m. in the Thornton Conference Room at Crowell Public Library, located at 1890 Huntington Drive, San Marino, California 91108.

CLOSED SESSION
The City Attorney requested to add one additional anticipated litigation item based upon circumstances that arose after the posting of the agenda under 54956.9(d) (2).
Vice Mayor Shepherd Romey moved, seconded by Council Member Talt, to add the additional anticipated litigation item for discussion.
Motion passed by the following vote:
AYES: Council Member Chou, Council Member Lo, Council Member Talt, Vice Mayor Shepherd Romey, Mayor Huang
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT: None
At 10:59 a.m., the Council recessed to closed session to discuss the following items:
1. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - ANTICIPATED LITIGATION GOVERNMENT CODE 54956.9 (D)(2)
The City Council met with respect to two (2) matters of significant exposure to litigation against the City.
Council added one additional anticipated litigation item based upon circumstances

Vice Mayor Shepherd Romey moved, seconded by Council Member Talt, to add the additional anticipated litigation item for discussion.
