BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
Mission School Transportation, Inc. was founded in 2014 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Student Transportation of America, Inc., the parent company, which was formed in 1997 when the founder and original CEO, Denis Gallagher, purchased Santa Barbara Transportation Corp, a 400-bus transportation company. A third-generation entrepreneur, he wanted to draw on his family's deep roots in the transportation industry to start a new company with a simple business plan built on principles he learned from his grandfather and father whose original family transportation business dates back to 1922: taking care of your employees, customers and the communities where you opcrate translates into success - operationally and financially.

Since its founding. STA has remained dedicated to developing and nurturing a unique company culture that focuses on three groups of critical stakeholders - employees, customers and communities. We are committed to being there for our employees and fostering a sense of family, pride and empowerment with employees that are happy to come to work. STA is committed to providing our customers with safe, reliable and cost-effective transportation. We treat our customers as valued members of our family. Our success in meeting and being responsive to our customers' needs is best demonstrated through our proven track record of retaining and renewing our contracts.

Over the years, STA has steadily grown by successfully obtaining contracts through school district bids, and by the successful conversions of district and contractor-operated fleets into STA-operated transportation systems. In 2011, STA joined the NASDAQ as a publicly held corporation and in 2018 STA was taken private by our senior management team and the largest, longest-tenured shareholder of 16 years, Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec, or "CDPQ". CDPQ is a long- term institutional investor with net assets of almost $400 billion. This partnership gives our Company access to greater resources to allow us to spend more time with our employces and customers, and to improve upon the safe opcrations we already have as well as in creating new technologies that will improve operations and efficiency for our customers.

UISSIONSCHIGOL TRANSPORTATION
STA is the parent company of 40 locally-operating subsidiaries. We currently partner with more than 325 school districts in 24 states, and our 18,500 employees operate more than 16,000 vehicles across North America, providing safe, on-time transportation to our customers while ensuring the workplace satisfaction and happiness of our team members.

Mission School Transportation began opcrations in the State of California in January, 2014, when STA purchased the assets of another transportation provider in Southern California that went bankrupt. MST operales from terminals located in the eastern area of Los Angeles and in Long Beach. With approximately 400 employees, Mission School Transportation provides daily home- to-school Special Needs transportation services to Alhambra Unified School District, Los Angeles Unitied School District, Long Beach Unified School District and Torrance Unified School District.

Mission School Transportation will begin providing home-to-school student transportation services to Pasadena Unified School District in July, 2022. Additionally, MST provides as-needed extracurricular and charter trip services to many school districts including Pasadena Unified School District and San Gabriel Unified School District. MST also provides charter trip services to Los Angeles Department of Transportation, Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Los Angeles County Department of Recreation. In the past, we have also provided services to the City of San Marino and the City of Pasadena.

MISSION CHOCE TAANSPORTATION
Our pricing for the City of San Marino is
outlined on the pricing sheet of this proposal. NSpring St Mission School Transportation operates these
nack Shack
services from a large, state of the art facility that Delissay Mesnagers:
is centrally located near downtown Los Angeles
in close proximity to the 5, 10, 101 and 110 NSpring St frceways. Our facility consists of seven acres S
of fenced, lighted and paved parking and a
modern six bay bus maintenance facility as well
as office space and propane and diesel fueling Fio Charging Station facilities for buses.
201 Satello St Los
Angeles, CA 00012
Our fleet of school buses is well maintained by
our own certified technicians and is one of the
youngest fleets in the Los Angeles area. Our 72 Maugha
- 82 passenger bus fleet is an average of less
than 8 years old. We also have a very green
fleet. Ninety percent (90%) of our buses in Los
Angeles operate on either propane or
compressed natural gas, both of which are clean burning fuels. All of our 72 - 82 passenger buses are air conditioned and equipped with seat belts, GPS systems and Child Checkmate systems that require the driver to walk the interior of the bus to check for sleeping passengers before the bus can be tured off and parked.

Operating a large fleet of buses that travel millions of miles each year, we are sometimes involved in lawsuits or litigation. No open lawsuit is of a scope or magnitude that would impair in any way MST's ability to provide services as outlined in this proposal and the RFP.
