On May 11, 2022, the City Council awarded a multi-year contract to CJ Concrete Construction, Inc. for the City’s annual sidewalk replacement program. The project was completed with no contract change orders bringing the final construction cost to $438,800.00, which is $450.00 (or 0.1%) under the original contract budget of $439,250.00. RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council accept Year 2 of the Multi-Year Sidewalk Replacement Program as complete and authorize the City Clerk to file the Notice of Completion. If the City Council concurs, an appropriate motion would be:
“I move to accept Year 2 of the Multi-Year Sidewalk Replacement Program Project No. 23-9272 performed by CJ Concrete Construction, Inc., as complete, and authorize the City Clerk to file the Notice of Completion.”
