Request Description and Justification
(Provide a description of your request that includes a justification describing the benefit of the expenditure to the department/City) The Emergency Operations Center located at the City Hall campus is in need of several modifications to improve the overall functional performance when used to coordinate City services during an emergency event, including upgrades to electrical equipment and circuits. The existing set-up in the EOC has wires hanging from the ceiling, which is not optimal. The City is proposing hiring a contractor to eliminate overhanging wires and consolidate them in a more convenient location while retaining the same functionality, as well as tie in all outlets to ensure complete functionality of the space. This project would eliminate potential hazards while ensuring the EOC is functioning at its highest possible level.
