SUBJECT: PROPOSED SPRING 2025 CITY TREE REMOVAL LIST FOR
REVIEW BY CITY COUNCIL TREE LIAISON
The Department has prepared a listing of fourteen (14) City-owned trees that are being considered for removal pursuant to Section 7.2 of the City’s street tree policy.
The City’s Urban Forester has identified these trees as either being dead with no hope of recovery, effectively dead, or diseased and posing a threat to public safety or other nearby healthy trees.
Additional information for each identified tree is available in Attachments 1 and 2, which include arborist reports and photo documentation completed and compiled by the Urban Forester.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that you review the attached tree removal list. The next step will be to forward this list to the City Council at their May 14th meeting as an informational item. The Department is available to provide other information or documents necessary to facilitate your review of our recommendations.
